Step-by-Step Setup

Follow each section in order. Check off steps as you complete them — your progress is tracked above.

Processor: Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or higher — must support VT-x / AMD-V hardware virtualisation
RAM: 16 GB minimum (32 GB recommended for running multiple VMs simultaneously)
Storage: 100 GB free disk space — SSD strongly recommended for VM performance
Host OS: Windows 10/11 or Ubuntu 22.04+ (macOS supported via VMware Fusion, Intel only)
Internet: Stable broadband connection — required to download VM images and access the lab
Display: 1280 × 800 or higher resolution (dual monitor setup helpful for side-by-side pentesting)
